Kimber Target II

-de-schwartz-ified

-STI hammer, sear, and single safety

-Caspian Trik-trigger

-EGW oversized slide stop

-Wilson mag release & button

-Wilson grip screws

-Techwell Carry and Alumagrips

-Wilson SS pin kit

-14lb ISMI recoil spring

-chopped old 23lb mainspring

-Good 'ol skate tape front strap

Damn near perfect setup to me :D Trying to avoid going to a FO front (having front sight focus issues I'm trying to sort out), but I can imagine that'll change soon.

Dave, she looks nice. How does she compare to your Spartan?

Thanks Chris

I like it. Both are great. This one is just prettier and feels a bit better in my hand, but the Spartan did sit a little lower - which caused the edges of the frame to dig in a bit into the web of my hand. The grips fit better on the non-filipino frames, so the Kimber feels a bit rounder in the hand. I might have to loosen up the extractor a bit, as it is having some sparse feeding issues with the 14lb recoil spring now - IIRC, the stock extractor tension is around 28oz on this one. I'll drop that to high teens / low 20's and see what happens.

Thanks for the compliments all
