BigDave
When you load for Minor (a la, Production, Bianchi, Steel), be carefull. I loaded up some minor rounds for an Action Pistol match (ummm, the State Match, btw) and the match chrono read at least 100 fps slower than mine did not two days before. Its not the chrono's fault, its mine. I should have never accepted 905 fps as fine when 898 is the floor. 17 fps is too close for minor. Next time I'll load for 1000 or 1050 fps. Basically, I paid $65 match fee plus ammo and gas for a score that didn't count. Learn from me so it doesn't cost you...
John Thompson
Couple years ago I took what were supposed to be 147 gr 9mm bullets from a friend for a last minute loading prior to a big match after somthing came up. He promised me that they were 147 and I didn't have to chrono. They turned out to be 130gr. and I didn't get scored. When in dought buy factory.
