Hiya guys,

I hope you can lead me to somewhere.

My Benelli Nova is giving me a hard time.

Occasionaly not 1 but 2 shells protude from the magtube in the chamber

forcing me to some time consuming actions solving this.

It seems that with the shorter shells it happens more frequent but i am not that sure about that.

I dont see any strange things at the rigth hand carrier latch.

The problem can occur once in 50 or once in 300 times.

And ofcourse always at the wrong time!

Who had the same problem or heard from others how and what to do?

All info appreciated.

Greetings

Adrie

Short stroking or a worn/bad shell release....

Few weeks ago i lent my shotgun to a relative unexperienced shooter and in his hands the double feeding appaered more

so i gues this could be because of short stroking.

Must i to take the whole triggergroup apart if i want to replace carrier latches?

(i assume you mean these to be bad or worn out)

I would get on to the Global Village forums over at the IPSC.ORG web site and post this question there. The Germans and English have really got the Nova figured out and they do all sorts of stuff to modify them and fix them! KurtM

You are absolutely rigth, I will do that Kurt.

I have good relationships with the german guys from Ironhands, like Bernd, Alex, Uwe etc and may call them good friends.

And I contacted Alex already, but he didnt see a Nova double feed before.

He trys to get some more Information though.

I thougth it wouldnt hurt to consult at the Enosforum too.

Greetings
