SRT Driver
I am thinking about going with a CZ85 in 9mm for Production. A few questions: 1. Source for Mags. Are there any good aftermarket mags? 2. Sights. Does anyone make a decent sight? The stock sight looks like a Millet style rear adjustable. The STD IPSC in 40 has a Bomar style but then I'd have to mill the slide. 3. Any trigger tricks. Any other comments? Thanks!!
jhgtyre
Usually CDNN Investments has mags. If they don't you might try Ammoclip.com for mags. -ld
bountyhunter
The cheap aftermarket mags don't work right. The CZ-85 has a "wrap-around" trigger bow that has to clear the mag shell. The trigger on mine is pretty smooth, but they do have a long pull. You can put in a 16# hammer spring (Wolff) and the trigger gets better. Mine has a 3.5# SA pull with no trigger job. berettashooter
if you have the opportunity look at the Tanfoglio Stock. Have everything te CZ have and more.
Eye Cutter
I use a CZ 85 for production division here in the Philippines. I just removed the magazine brake, placed grip tape on the front strap and had the internals polished. Very sweet trigger pull!!! The factory 16 rd magazines for the CZ85 cost about $30 here. Aftermarket Mecgar 17 rd mags cost about $35. The only thing I don't like about the cz's are the very small front sights. :-)
