BrianH Posted April 22, 2003 Share Posted April 22, 2003 That POS HP laptop that I was fighting with for months finally did the totally wrong thing....it pissed off the Missus bigtime. So I got the order to box it up and take it back, just to see what they'd do. Over 11 months old, I was sure they'd tell me to go f*ck up a rope....tried it anyway.... They gave me all my money back!!!! Every penny!!! No questions asked!!!!! Like BE's says.....HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!!! That was the LAST thing I expected! So now I'm smokin' along here on a new Compaq I dunno what....but it's faster than all get-out! I also learned a lesson....stay away from Kazaa!!!!!!! If it hasn't butchered your system yet, it's only a matter of time. That's what I get for trying to get something for nothing..... (I know...I know....don't say it! When it comes to consumer electronics or other big ticket items, if Costco doesn't have it - I wait until they do. Did you get the Compaq with the 16" screen?
