Which one is easier to line up...

... a C-More red dot or a Docter type. Does it make a difference in relationship to where the dot/glass is mounted over the gun. C-More being more midline to forward (depending on the mount), where as a Docter/Burris/J-Point being fully aft. I would think the sights mounted fully rearward are more sensitive to gun movement and would have a quicker dot movement requiring a steadier hand. Can someone enlighten me. Is there even a difference? I'm considering the Carver/C-More but I've become enamored with Lone Wolf's new setup.

There is no difference. They both require a steady hand. I personally think a Doctor / J-Point is easier to sight in, but a C-More takes just a little more patience.

Depends on you, in my case the Dr+base was very bothersome due to my open sight index. I sent the slide to Beven to have the Dr milled into the slide, it's much better now. There's no way I could shoot a C More.

Added: forgot to mention the gun is a G34.

We use the JPoint on the Open Glock's we do and we bury them into the slide. Of all the different ways of mounting them I think that is the best way to go, and its what I have on my Open Glock.
