CSEMARTIN Posted November 11, 2007 Share Posted November 11, 2007 Last weekend at a local match, I prepared to LAMR. As I was going hot, I noticed there was a problem with my mainspring housing pin. The pin was split in half and each half was sticking partially outside the frame. Has anyone seen this happen? How could this happen? Is this a sign of impending doom? How could this happen? Is this a sign of impending doom? I have seen one of these break, it was replaced and as far as I know has not reocurred. The groove in the center of the pin acts as a stress riser and these pins do have considerable force on them.
