markcic
ok i have been reading through the rulebook when i can for the USPSA but have not come across wheather a tactical leg holster is legal in production or not can someone please clarify... thanks..( the reason i ask is because it is what i have come to know in the service.) It depends. According to the rule book rule 5.2.3 says no unless you are active duty and using your duty gear as specified in 5.2.8 then you would be able to use it at a level 1 (local match). 5.2.3 Unless otherwise specified in the written stage briefing, the belt carrying the holster and all allied equipment must be worn at waist level. The belt or the inner belt or both must be either permanently fixed at the waist, or secured with a minimum of three belt loops. 5.2.8 Competitors deemed by the Match Director to be active law enforcement officers or military personnel may be entitled to use their duty holsters and related equipment however, the Range Master will remain the final authority in respect of the safety and suitability of using such equipment at IPSC matches. US5.2.8 Competitors deemed by the Match Director to be active law enforcement officers or military personnel may be entitled to use their duty holsters and related equipment when such equipment does not strictly satisfy the equipment or other requirements of the declared Division. The Range Master will remain the final authority in respect of the safety and suitability of using such equipment at IPSC matches. The use of such equipment, except as otherwise permitted in the rules, is restricted to Level I matches only.
