the duck of death
Where to get a Burris Fast Fire base for a Glock w/o being worked over on the shipping? One place had them for 22.95+12.95 shipping. Edit: went back to check, 12.95 was for 2, one base was 6.95 which I considered reasonable. Ordered base from: http://www.opticsplanet.net/burris-mount-fastfire.html Edited September 29, 2007 by the duck of death

MustangGreg66
Hi, I was thinking about getting one of these sights, from the same website too. Just wanted to know how you got the sight out, did you have to use the glock sight tool to float out the old sight and put in the base?
Garrett
Just wanted to know how you got the sight out, did you have to use the glock sight tool to float out the old sight and put in the base? The Glock sight tool works well for removing the rear sight. I don't know if you will be able to use the Glock tool to put the new sight base in, though. Or, if you don't want to buy a Glock tool, just put the slide in a vice (or hold it steady with the back end overhanging a workbench) and tap it out with a brass punch and mallet. Carefully tap the new sight base in the same way. Not a big deal.
