Mo Zee
I recently got myself the 3 gun US nationals DVD and noticed that most of the top guns are using the JP/Doctor sight on their shotguns. Is there any specific reason besides the fact that the scope is closer to the bore of the barrel. I have been contemplating fitting the cmore onto mine because it has a larger viewing area for the dot. Any thoughts on this? Pros/Cons
smokshwn
95% of what we do in three gun is much faster with a rib....steel, static clays, flying clays etc. the dot is nice for precision with slugs. I prefer to have a dot/sights available that allow me to see the rib and utilize the dot as need. When someone mounts ghost rings or an optic that is way above the sight line of a shotgun it seems to me you are trading accuracy 5% of the time for the speed you lose on 95% of the targets. NO BUENO!
