mattbeck
I don't have any experience with deisels, but I've got an '07 Silverado with the fuel control engine. It's a 4 door 4x4 Z-71. I do love it. Great ride, comfortable and all, but I'm dissappointed with the economy. I'm getting around 14-15 in town and 17-18 on the highway. And by on the highway, I mean over 100 miles at a time. Regular day to day driving, even with 50-60 mile hwy trips won't break 15 mpg.
ap38
I drive an 07 Tahoe with the engine that shuts down to 4 cylinders. I drive 140 miles round trip, 2 lane 55mph highway and through several small towns. I keep it at about 62-65 most of the time and average 18.8 according to the guage. I admit I baby the ride a bit, but it sure is a nice one.
