scooterdog Posted March 25, 2003 Share Posted March 25, 2003 I hate to sound to inept, but how do you get the carrier & charging handle out of the receiver on a Benelli M3 Super 90? Instructions say to pull charging handle out. Thats it! Can't seem to get the darn thing out of the carrier. Any help would be appreciated. TeamGE Posted March 25, 2003 Share Posted March 25, 2003 Hi scooterdog, Just pull on the charge handle straight out of the bolt carrier really hard. The charge handle is a pin with a groove machined in it, and is held in place by a detent ball and spring. The ball and spring is captured, so nothing will fall or fly out when you get the charge handle out. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
gm iprod Posted March 25, 2003 Share Posted March 25, 2003 If you gun is fairly unclean, then you may have to resort to a small lever on the handle. I use a plastic toothbrush that is rested against the reciver and apply a gentle amount of leverage to the underside of the handle. This will ease the handle out gently.
