FranDoc
Is anybody familiar with or have experience with the Sprinco after-market guide rod replacement, 'recoil management system', as applied to a Kimber Pro-Carry? See http://www.brownells.com/aspx/ns/store/Pro...NAGEMENT+SYSTEM Found this while wandering through Brownell's looking for something else. Input appreciated. ima45dv8
How a Sprinco affects a gun's feel while shooting is pretty subjective. Each individual needs to try it to see how it fits their style of shooting. Some people love 'em, some people hate 'em.
bountyhunter
I have used the Firedragon version of that thing in a number of guns (Glock 35, SIG 226, Beretta 92) because they absolutely keep the slide from contacting the frame. I don't see or feel any difference in felt recoil or muzzle rise, but I have a pretty strong grip. BTW: the Sprinco unit did not work in my BER 92 (kept failing to return to battery) whiich is why I use the firedragon versions. EFK also costs less: https://www.efkfiredragon.com/products.php?cat=7 Edited June 14, 2007 by bountyhunter
