Since I was shooting with the SOs a day early, we were loading up as a squad at the beginning of each stage. Somehow on one stage I missed the loadup. Since we had been loading up ahead of time I didn't check my pistol before saying I was ready. Buzzer goes off, gun goes "click", I say "shit." Had to load out of my pouch and get to work. That cost me several seconds. Not a good finish. It was a fun match anyway. Well designed, moved along smoothly, and the weather was beautiful. Now I will check every time to make gun is loaded.
