dskd Posted March 12, 2007 Share Posted March 12, 2007 DONT use new brass at matches its longer than once fired brass i just shot my area match here in new zealand and on the first day my gun wouldnt fire every 3rd or 4th round ( i got told it was called primer flow ) cos of the longer cases the primers where falling apart a blocking the fireing pin i have fire 3-4000 rounds this year same load same bullets not a problem only thing that was differnt was i used new brass Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Case internal capacity may have been smaller than your old brass, causing raised pressure. Longer cases might have caused excessive crimp, leading to high pressure, but you should have seen crimp problems when loading. Still you make your point.
