elenius
I like the sights on my glock, which are WTS Sevigny Competition sights. I bought a Kimber Custom II recently, and I would like to have a similar sight picture, but they don't make this one for 1911s as I understand it. On the glock sight, the rear notch is .150" wide and .124" high. The front sight is .115" wide. This seems to work very well for me. On my Kimber, the front sight is .135", and the rear notch also .135" wide, and .100" high. I can't get a sight picture quickly with this, and not at all if I keep both eyes open. I just want plain black iron sights, no fiber optic, and I don't care if they're adjustable or not, as long as I can get a similar sight picture. I intend to bring it to a gunsmith. Any suggestions? shadetree
Those look like good sights. I might give them a try myself. I never have been all that excited about the kimber stock sights. The word adequit comes to mind
