To all that shoot major matches. Always check and recheck your score sheet at matches. several individuals had to reshoot a stage at the Ohio Sec. because of incorrect scoring. the reshoot gods caused me to think too much and i ended up screwing the pooch and knocked me out of first place in my  class.

Look at your targets.  Make sure that the RO calls the right score.  Don't let anyone tape the targets if you are not sure they were scored correctly.

The RO missed an alpha at the A8 RG.  By the time I got him to come back to the target, it was taped.

Yep...I see it all the time, at matches big and small.  Everybody makes mistakes.  I have got into the habit of following the RO around and checking his/her calls.  And, I tally up the hits on the score sheet myself before I sign it.  Re-shoots are often bad mojo.  (though I did get a re-shoot at Tri-State that helped me out)

I had a little scare last night when I saw 20 penalty points on a stage that I didn't remember "earning." A quick call to the range-owner revealed that a swinger that remains visible earns you Mike penalties when you put a pretty pair in the hardcover tape! Doh!
