Since they started adding all the extra commercials for last years elections, I have taped every prime time program or event so I can fast forward through commercials. I knew we were in for a dreary bunch of commercials when I heard that they were asking for fans to submit their "ideas" for spots. I worked in that business for over 20 years and I've never heard of any company/producer/director/writer letting ANYBODY outside their realm of influence have any creative control of the product.
