Insurance could be high for this feature, as it makes a great place for exaust fumes to collect, and kill you. Friend of mine just had the roof raised on his garage, so he could put in a lift. For the price of the Jiffy Lube pit you could just take the cars to Jiffy Lube a LOT of times. But maybe you enjoy working on cars... The lube pit could double as the open end of the buried firing range though.
