gm iprod
I finally got my together. Absolutely chucking it down. So dark I had to turn the dot down 2 settings. Rain drops all over the Aimpoint. Nobody wanted to paint the plates. So we just went for it. Nothing perfect but the over all was great. 1896-147X. Personal best, by 15points. Including: 1. A late shot on the practical at 15yards, which was an 8 , when for some reason I could not see the dot at all. Seems it was in there all the time. 2. Two 5's on the mover when that dot went a wandering again. I had just put a new 4moa Aimpoint on pistol. I usually use a 7 or 10 so I can pick it up quicker. One of the guys at the club who has shoot more 1910+ scores than I have had hot dinners said that I was so concerned about the dot I forgot it was raining. Seems he was right. Now I just have to stop that dot from going walkabout.
Phil Dunlop
congratulations Richard! That was some nasty weather to be shooting in. If you keep up the improvement it won't be long before we allow you back on the ipsc range P.D.
gm iprod
Thanks, I will see you at the Nationals in Hamilton. This time I may try that 'look at the front sight' thing.
