Dillion 650 Powder Check

Recommended Posts

How is is hanging up?

There is quite a bit of tolerance there so it should not be that tight.

Mine works just perfect and I have a second die mounted to my conversion plate and have no problems with either.

In fact mine is much more accurate than what Dillon will admit (for liability reasons).

There are only 2 real adjustments, 1) the height of the contact sleeve (not sure what they call it) and the set screw that contact the shell plate moving the check alarm forward.

Not the pwder measure the powder check on the next station. I have polished the inside of the cast body and the bar the actuates the alarm. Maybe it is static or something. I tried the dryer sheet trick but no luck. I guess I can give dillion a callI know they will take it back and send me a new one. But I would prefer to keep it as I am loading my match ammo now.

When I set mine up I used a small amount of dillion lube on the rod that contacts the shell plate.

I know adjusting the system for the first time was a bit of a pain, but it never once hung up on me in the season that it was attached.

Just how is it hanging up?

do you have the right rod installed for the brass your reloading?
