tightloop Posted September 12, 2006 Share Posted September 12, 2006 You need to read the interview with Tom Watson in the newest Golf magazine...at least he agrees with me that the stupid amounts of money they play for now days contributes to the lack of desire to just win at any price...you can become a multimillionaire and never win a tourney at all...lots of them do that..They just do not have the incentives to do what they need to do in order to beat him...personally I think Mickelson has the drive but he is not smart enough to get it done...evidenced by his throwing away the Open....Duh.... Tiger is good, and he is lucky and he has the rest of them buffalloed on top of that...it is pitiful the way they fall over themselves instead of just playing their own game.... et45 Posted September 17, 2006 Share Posted September 17, 2006 The streak is over and that is one sports record that will never be broken.Byron Nelson won 11 in a row and 18 overall in one year.Nelson also had 65 straight top 10 finishes.Tiger will never match those numbers.
