bountyhunter Posted August 24, 2006 Share Posted August 24, 2006 Golly, how about a smooth-jaw vise, clamp the spring at about the point you want the bend, and put the appropriate box end wrench over the hook end somewhere and use the wrench for a bender? I avoid a sharp angle bend just on general principles. That's why I prefer a mandrel (curved) bend, although I have no proof a sharp bend would damage the spring.
