Sudden Death Posted May 31, 2006 Share Posted May 31, 2006 Does anyone have a CED pistol insert sleeve, and have a problem with surface rust on you gun ??? I have had my CED bag and insert for a year now and I even bought a extra sleeve to go with it too, it looks like a real handi item I love the bag and I think it is top quality and well worth the money they get for them, but the insert that comes with it for your pistol will put surface rust on any gun in a matter of hours I tried washing it thinking there is something in the materal, nope that's not it ! just wondering does anyone have this problem too. Jaxshooter Posted June 1, 2006 Share Posted June 1, 2006 (edited) I keep all of my handguns in the CED sleeves, blued, ss and hard chromed and never had one rust. Are you storing your bag in an area that is damp? or leaving it in the car and then bringing it into the AC? (sweating from the temp change).
