DaG
Hey Guys, I would like to have a uspsa glock only match at my home club. Alot of people asked about major/minor,holster/equipment rules, gun size, etc. What is the best way to have this type of match? TIA DaG
open17
I've shot two Glock only matches. The first was Rich Redovians Idaho State Glock Match, in Emmett Idaho. It's a USPSA "recognized" match. Kind of a different format--Large Frame, Medium Frame, Small Frame. Scored minor, 140mm max mag length. Second was the Oregon Glock Championship. Put on by Mike McCarter at Albany Rifle and Pistol, in Albany Oregon. Straight USPSA Divisions/Classes/Rules. 2005 was the first annual match, and it drew 55 competitors. Personally I preferred the Albany match. Bill
Flexmoney
Probably a good idea to get in touch with Rich. I'd also get in touch with Robin Taylor at USPSA/Front Sight Magazine. Robin is a glocker and could give some details. I am guessing that to operate as a "recognized" match, you'd need to follow many of the safety rules and such from USPSA.
