alellis
Hi. I have been loading .45 acp exclusively for months now. Yesterday I needed to do some .40 S&W. The first thing I noticed is how easy the primers go in. I use mixed .45 brass and Federal 150 primers and it takes a hefty push to seat them. I tried a RCBS pocket swager but it fits in ok. Any comments.? al
mike cyrwus
the small primers have less surface area than the lg primers. more friction with the lg primers, thus more force needed. its normal, especially is your seating mechanism gives you a good amount of feel.
