Maxthemutt Posted May 4, 2006 Share Posted May 4, 2006 Hi, I aquired this mount some time ago and have no idea what it is. It seems to be for a 1911, I held it against a single stack on the guns left side as your holding it, the mounting bolts lined up with the dust cover and the mount was over the slide only offset to the left. It seems to have been designed so you wouldn't have ejection problems. Anyway, here's some pics, any help would be appreciated. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
eric nielsen Posted May 5, 2006 Share Posted May 5, 2006 I've seen that mount, probably advertised in Front Sight Magazine a few years ago. Kindof like the Brazos offset mount but the one you have mounts the CMore further back on the gun and it's drilled to match a Dawson 6-hole pattern. Is it called the Sidewinder or something similar?
