DaG
I did a search but couldn't find what I was looking for. Does anyone know inside dimensions of Starline and Winchester brass? Or is there a fool proof way to measure the dimensions @ home? I was wondering if there was any difference in the two as far as it would relate to pressure or velocity. Bill Nesbitt
I've never done this, but I remember reading about filling the cases with water and weighing the water to get the differences in case capacity. You could do this on your powder scale.
TRG65
I did the water method with my 223 cases. It worked very well. Weighed the cases before, added water and reweighed. I used 3 cases to get an average. Got my velocity calculations very close in QL.
