The first match for the California 3-Gun Championship is this weekend in Ridgecrest Calif.

best 4 out of the 6 matches score if shooting the series. You can still shoot the individual matches for fun and practice.

Where the hay is Ridgecrest?

Seeing as there are no matches north of the mason dixon line this year save Morro Bay (and that is only Northern CA by a technicality), why isn't it called the "Southern" California 3-Gun Championship Series now?

It is in the middle of "No Where". The closest thing of interest (?) are Death Valley and China Lake Test Range.

It is about 80 miles northeast of Victorville on I395........

Anybody know the round counts? Need to know how much ammo to bring......

Sign ups 7:30 - 8:00, shooters meeting at 8:00 and shooting starts right after.

I would bring 100 pistol, rifle, shotgun and 20 slugs. Should not need it all but you never know.

Facility is the home range for the Sage Pistol League, it is the same location where the Silver Buckle match has been held for the last few years.
