Death

In 3 days late last week, between myself and my girlfriend we have been given the terrible news that 4 friends had passed away.

The oldest being 33 yrs young and a mother of 3 children, the others in the early 20's.

3 of the deaths unfortunately were motor vehicle accidents and one was someone that has struggled with health issues most of his life.

It is hard enough trying to keep a grip on reality when we go the news of the first one, but then another the next day, the 2 more the day after...... Life and death can just suck at times.

But I thank God that I am still here doing what I am doing.

I'm sorry for your loss. There is an American country music song called, "Live Like You Were Dying". I've thought about the songs title quite a bit lately. I've decided I don't want to live like I'm dying. I want to live like I'm living! Which for me means living each day to the fullest. Lifting up a prayer of comfort your way. Hang in there.
