Recoil Spring Assembly W/ Bull Barrel ?

Putting a bull barrel in my para p1640, do I just need a reverse spring plug, and use the existing FL guide rod? Or do I need to use a special recoil assembly?

you can use the existing guide rod, but you will need to drill a hole in it so you can take the gun apart.

I think ed brown is about the only company that makes a bull oversized enough to work with the para slide.

the reverse plug you should use should be the same kind used in STI..not the evil and ugly wilson reverse plug.

the guide rod is cheap enough(unless tungsten) just buy new one from chuck at shooters connection.

I believe you will have to get the slide machined to accept the reverse plug used with a bull barrel.
