Does anyone know anything about this scope? It looks good, has received a couple good reviews and offers the features that one would want for a carbine sight. Does anyone have any experience?

Hey, I'm just hoping to find someone who has had one in their hands. Based on what I have read, it SHOULD be an excellent carbine scope, but we don't know what the parallax is, how the illuninated dot looks, how robust the thing is (though, if set up for muzzle-loaders, it ought to be plenty sturdy!), etc. I have e-mailed the company in hopes of getting more info. Over on ARFCOM, I saw someone describe it as a "Poor Man's Short Dot." If it turns out to be worthwhile, that'd be an apt description! We shall see!

I e-mailed MDM late last week. They replied back quickly but, unfortunately, indicated that they would be tied up with the Shot Show till mid-week next week. Additionally, they seemed quite excited about their scopes potential appeal to us in the "3-gun/ competition/ tactical" market. I am anticipating having some contact with the MDM folks after that. I'll post an update then. B)

We will try and stop by their booth at the Shot Show this week and get back with what we see.

I am curious about this scope after looking at the photo. It looks very similiar to some scopes being made by Asian companies who were marketing them as "company label" scopes. That is, they would make them with your specific brand name on it.

Was able to take a 10 minute look at this scope today. IMO, I would avoid this as a competition scope if the low price is attractive. For the price, there are better and cheaper close out for under $100 scopes available thru CDNN.

If anyone is interested, email and we can give a break down on what we saw. Probably would be against the forum rules to speak publicly of a products less than stellar features.
