ChuckS
Hi All,I may be down new Laguna Niguel this weekend. Are there any matches this weekend nearby? Thanks in advance. It depends on what you mean by nearby! Norco on Saturday (USPSA pistol and 3 gun), Prado on Sunday. Rain forcast for Saturday* Later, Chuck For directions: Norco Prado (shooting starts at 0900 both days) *either it will just sprinkle, Seattle-like, or rain like hell. You never know this time of year.
Mistral404
Thanks Chuck, The directions to both clubs seem like they are in the same place. Are they the same or just close to each other? BTW: Do you have an idea of the cost and round counts? It seems like the Noroco has a pretty big turnout. Is this usual? Thanks again,

Norco has gotten pretty big lately. The price is $27, $30 if they have a classifier. Round count is ~170 or so. There are usually 6 stages. Prado is $25. The round count is ~140 or so. They do 6 stages + a classifier. Due to the nature of the bays (deep, narrow, with cinder block walls), there is usually only room for 2 field courses and the rest are speed shoot but they can be some tough shots since the bays are ~25 yards deep. I tried to upload google earth place marks but the forum won't do it. Here are the numbers: "NorcoRunningGun" lat=33.9242716886, lon=-117.623083368 "PradoIPSC" lat=33.9360997628, lon=-117.659185761 Later, Chuck
Mistral404
Chuck, Thanks for the information. The matches were very good. I really enjoyed shooting with you on Sunday. Prado was a lot of fun. That classifier was quickly forgotten by me--did I take the "mike" grand prize for that stage?
ChuckS
Paul, Not sure about the mike prize but you did come in second (or last depending on your POV) in L-10. The scores are up in the local match section on uspsa.org and should probably be up at uspsa2.org after Jerry gets home from work and posts them. Good to meet ya! Later, Chuck PS: I left some comments in your LAX thread.
