Glock 34/35 + Heinie's front sight=??

Hello, I have installed Heinies on Glocks before but never the G34/35. How do you tighten down the front sight with the slide in the way?

There is a tool that fit thru that hole in the bottom of the front of the slide.  (Well, it is supposed to fit.)

You can get it from Brownell's, if you think you will do a few of them (and need it more than once).  I think the tool is made by Ed Brown.

Brownell's might tell you the tool won't fit thru that hole..and they are right.  I had to chuck up my sight tool (I just put mine in a drill) and then thin down the outside diameter until it would fit (no big deal).

I could certainly let you use mine at a match.  Nt sure when I will see you again though.  Ask around locally...Glock gunners will have that tool.

or just go to sears and buy a nut driver the right size and grind/turn it down...worked for me...

Or buy the Ed Brown tool for the job because it will fit through the hole out of the box.

I have my Glock 34 set up with Heinies Slant pro Strait 8's (it is the house gun, with M3 tactical light and a 19 round Glock mag. Add Cor-Bon 115s and it will do the job!)

Yes, just get a bit of lock-tite and the right wrench. Not a hard job at all.

Thanks Flex. I may take you up on the offer, I think I will try the nut driver since I can't wait.  The tool from Ed Brown cost $12+shipping+the wait.
