Does anyone have any information on the builder. I've read he was a smith out of Texas and is no longer in business. I'm really thrilled with it. I'll probably swap the optic, but I'm not 100% sure. I shot ART guns way back in the early 90s as he was always cool to the kid with lots of interest and not much money. He was a member of the American Pistolsmiths Guild and a very good smith, especially known for his bluing and finish work. More than one one-of-a-kind presentation pistol went through his shop. Worked out of his house and IIRC only built guns to order from customers. Last I ran into him at the range, he still shoots a bit but is well retired.
