Religious Shooter Posted December 26, 2005 Share Posted December 26, 2005 I have a Jewell and JP on two different guns and both use lightened springs. Has anyone had any first-hand experience with CCI primed rounds not popping on AR15s due to the lighter hammer springs found with these competition triggers? For some reason Scharch only has .223 primed with CCI. I know CCI is supposed to be the hardest of the different brands. I wanna know if I will have problems before I place my order. blkbrd Posted December 26, 2005 Share Posted December 26, 2005 (edited) My JP trigger setups using light springs & the light weight JP hammer never have a problem setting off Mil spec primers, however I have had problems when using light weight springs with the stock heavy hammers.
