XTCshooter
I was talking to a coworker at the shop about PCCs and we were curious why the fin ejector is used vs the plunger ejector in the bolt like an AR? Was it just a simple as adapting what works in a handgun and transferring it? Link to comment
mmc45414
Good question... I wonder if maybe the bolt speed might be faster with the blowback guns. Link to comment
mitommy
The ejector also serves as a mag stop. The flaw is thar the set screws, that hold the ejector are just basically a friction hold. Over time my ejector moved up and allowed over inserting a mag. I fixed the problem by determining the proper location and drilling dimples in the side of the ejector for the screws to nest into. I also have a scribe line on the side of the ejector for a quick visual check that the ejector has not moved. Link to comment
