delta6
I recently had a student in a pistol class that was shooting a CANIK, TP9SFX, 5.25 pistol. From the first shot he fired he had FTE completely/stove pipes. He started with Sterling 115 grain 9MM and we chronographed it at 1100+. We tried Blazer and Winchester white box with the same results. The firearm came with two recoil springs and we tried them both. We have contacted Century, but they are painfully slow in responding. Has anyone else had this issue, if so, what was your solution? Does someone sell reduced power recoil springs?

lroy
Canik recoil springs are super stiff. I think they recommend 124 nato for breaking them in? Most people end up just buying a glock guide rod and using their own springs. You'd have better luck posting this in the canik forum, though.
