CMORE slideride parallax

I tested one of my sliderides and found significant parallax over several dot modules, some new.

I removed the dot module cover plate and found that the module can move forward and back by 0.1 mm.

In the forward position the parallax was removed. However the retaining plate pushed the dot module to the rear when tightened.

The solution was to shim the dot to the front using a strip of paper, and filing the offending part of the retaining plate so that the forward position was kept when all screws were tightened.

I have to look at mine. I think I only have one that would allow any type of movement of the module. Most are very form fit and even hard to remove.
