BR
I have ordered one of the discontinued Simmons 20mm non-ill. scopes. The field of view on the 32mm (55') was dismal compared to the 20mm (71'). However, I notice that in Simmons 2005 catalog for the new version of the Pro Diamond, the field of view for all of the new scopes - 20mm non-ill, 32mm ill/non-ill - are all the same at 65'. Has anyone actually compared the new versions to see if the FOV is really the same between 20mm and 32mm? If it is, what advantage does the 20mm have over the 32mm? Perhaps this is just Simmons marketing in an attempt to sell more of their more expensive 32mm scopes compared to the less expensive 20mm. Of, perhaps they improved the FOV on the 32mm scope, which with the illumination sounds like a winner. Cheers, -br Edited December 15, 2005 by joker22

CWG.223
Anyone know where I can find a pro diamond 1.5x5x20. CDNN doesn't have them anymore.
Vlad
I think the old Pro-Dimonds are pretty much gone, unless you can find one on a shelf somewhere.
CWG.223
Are the new ones as good as the old ones? Is there a big difference?
