mofosheee
I have a Colt Mustang .380 Series IV, Series 80 (pre polymer) that has been sitting in my safe for about 35 years. I recall it was feed sensitive, failing to chamber some rounds. Since I'm reloading these winter days, is there anybody out there in forum land that can suggest a load that would work in this pistol? Such as grain of bullet, RN or hollow point. Or should I buy off the shelf ammo and test? Thanks again. pcschwenke
In my Springfield 911, pretty much the same gun, it does fine with 95gr RN, with 3.1 of Titegroup. I shot about 500 rounds through it now, and it works well. The first couple hundred jammed sometimes, but now it’s good. I also use a SupeVel hollow point, and it functions flawlessly.
