Ghost TSO holster update - with BOSS hanger

Alright so I bought a ghost “the one s” holster for my TSO in .40. The locking/unlocking/drawing takes some getting used to but it’s very nice after a couple weeks of dry fire. I will say, the hanger that comes with it is pretty garbage in my opinion. Other reviews said it was aluminum and sturdy, I disagree. It is aluminum but mine bent pretty severely just putting it onto my belt. I tightened it enough that the holster hanger didn’t slide around the belt, and this was enough to warp the hanger. Today I modified my BOSS hanger to fit the ghost system and am much happier with it. If I had to do it over again, I’d recommend purchasing just the holster body and getting a hanger somewhere else. To modify the boss to fit I just used a dremel cutter to route out one of the semi circle areas and drilled a hole slightly bigger to accept M6 screws that go into the holster body. I’ll need to get slightly longer screws but that’s just a short stop at lowes or Home Depot.

Wish I had seen that, would’ve just gotten the holster body from the start. The aluminum is incredibly thin, until they beef up the design or make it from steel I just don’t think it’d adequate.

I did the exact same thing, love it. I had to re-organize the adjustable bit of the ghost holster to make the gun sit low enough. Got it set up just right now, been through 2 matches with this set up without a hitch. I'll post some pics to this thread as well.

I’ll have to post some better pics of the full setup. I did end up getting some small 1/2” spacers to push the gun out a bit further but I’m worried it might be too much. Might grab some smaller 1/4” or 3/8” spacers if there are any whenever I grab some longer screws. Appreciate the help you gave me!
