Clamp-On Compensator aka. Clampensator for 1911/2011

I live in CA, and in this state we cannot own threaded barrels. This is a work-around for shooters that want to use a compensator, it clamps on an extended barrel:

Interesting concept. I have seen all sorts of mountings for comps. I think there are a couple clamp ons for CZs. 

 

But a 7" slide, 9" barrel and a 4" full profile comp? Yeah, I bet it reduces recoil significantly, but you'd need a 7# recoil spring to get a .45 to cycle properly.

I needed a 16# RS to move the slide back to battery, it’s heavy...tried 12, 14, 15....16 did it
