New revolver shooters? I helped out.

I was at my local indoor range yesterday shooting my 627. Indoors sucks, but I'm a member so I go every week.

 

There were a couple of new shooters next to me, whacking away with a Glock at three yards. They were safe, and doing well.

 

They seemed impressed with the size of my manly 627

 

I gave them a few minutes of "orientation" on how to load it, unload it, and shoot it. I had them dry fire it a bunch of times.

 

I never mentioned it was double action only, or that only weenies shoot revolvers single action.

 

Then I loaded up a few rounds, and let them shoot. They both enjoyed it, and I felt good about introducing new shooters to revolvers.

So your wife wouldn't be jealous because they were like her? Does she know you told us "they" were smoking hot, but didn't say that about her, too? Hope she doesn't read the S&W forum! Glad they both enjoyed learning about revos.
