Better forum software for mobile use?

It’s been a while since Tapatalk went away, and that’s not really an issue. What is an inconvenience is that the current forum software doesn’t seem very friendly to use on mobile devices. 
 

is it possible to consider an alternative?  Another forum I frequent seems to work really well on mobile devices. Could we possibly see what they use and consider a switch?  I’d be happy to donate to help make it happen. I think it’s a configuration issue not a problem with the software per se.
