Metalhead68
Greetings, obviously new here. I’ve been trying to figure out this sight but now I’m just going to ask. USPSA appendix for carry optics shows max magazine length as 5.561” and factory 9mm 17 rd mag is just over 5.0 “ long yet I see a lot of competitors using extended base plates and they’re getting a higher than 17 rnd count. How is this possible with breaching the max length or a better question is how is the magazine measured? thanks for your answers
NETim
Appendix E1 explains how mags are measured. Most Glock 17 mags with most aftermarket +5/6 mag baseplates will gauge within spec. The EGW mag gauge is the official standard. https://www.egwguns.com/uspsa-mag-gauge
Metalhead68
I can’t believe I missed that after printing the entire book of rules.
