The pistol was on g broker in Phoenix 1/2 hour drive from me so I looked at it and bought it impulse.  The owner said it was a custom build from accuracy unlimited az.

My local gunsmith said it locks up tight looks good about sub 2 # trigger. I expressed my concerns about alum frame etc. We talked about oil for the frame.    Barrel says .355 so only .355 ? cant go .356 ? opinions vary depends who is asked forums etc.  Asking here.  I like the left side of the safety for a thumb ride, I am accidently engaging the right side. I have not fired it yet. Will be happy to grind that off.  Or order single side safety. Beaver tail safety has been de activated.  For me I would like to get the beaver safety back in action unless there is a major advantage either way.

I ordered the taylor spring kit and the wolf ultralight spring kit. It has a dawson ? easy take down guide rod. I read here use a regular guide rod for low power loads?

I am not competing in any contests. Maybe a local steel challenge some day.

.356 lead is fine.

.355 jacketed is normal.

this normal for 9mm and newer 38 super. After 1995-1998 or so most barrels I have seen run bullets like a 9mm.

.356 jacketed / .356 lead were generally for a 38 super
