chess
I have a SIRT 107 that I train with (because I shoot M&P) and I am replacing the plastic sights with the sights I use on all of my real M&Ps (warren tactical plain rear and dawson precision .115 wide fiber optic front). Typically the front sight height for a warren tactical rear should be 0.165 for a pistol of the sight radius that the SIRT has. I have a 0.170 front sight just sitting around that would fit, and the laser on the SIRT can be corrected as needed. Then I would not need to buy an extra front sight. So the question for consideration - Would training with a front sight with this degree of error negatively impact my shooting skills when using my actual pistol (which is 0.165 front sight height)?
