  1. I have a SIRT 107 that I train with (because I shoot M&P) and I am replacing the plastic sights with the sights I use on all of my real M&Ps (warren tactical plain rear and dawson precision .115 wide fiber optic front). Typically the front sight height for a warren tactical rear should be 0.165 for a pistol of the sight radius that the SIRT has. I have a 0.170 front sight just sitting around that would fit, and the laser on the SIRT can be corrected as needed. Then I would not need to buy an extra front sight. So the question for consideration - Would training with a front sight with this degree of error negatively impact my shooting skills when using my actual pistol (which is 0.165 front sight height)?
  2. I bought both the LASR and the SIRT. It is truly awesome!
  3. There is nothing quite like having the range to yourself on a Sunday morning. It's the only zen I know these days
  4. I have the Tokyo Marui SW9. Its pretty good for practicing transitions.
  5. jokes In looking at some of the grips of the top shooters, it seems most have the tip of the the non-dominant index finger sitting on the second finger. But with strong grip i get sliding to the side when I do that.
  6. Until recently my non-dominant index finger tip has been ending up in the space between the base of my dominant hand index and second fingers but not actually touching the frame. When I clamp down on my grip,it is pressing the flesh of my second finger into the frame (but not actually touching). However I am beginning to get chronic pain in the distal non-dominant index finger joint from the upward pressure of the dominant second finger. Where does the tip of the non-dominant index finger end up for you all?
  7. She likes to "do the beep" while standing behind me. After a bunch of reps of somewhat slow and awkward draws, she says, "hmm...maybe you should just work on magazine changes tonight, dad..."
  8. I am struggling with this. I am finding that even my amount of weak palm contact with the grip panel seems to be variable based on sequential versus initial light dominant hand grip followed by clamping down together.
  9. I don't think I have ever in the duration of owning an M&P remembered to put back this godforsaken wire until the locking block roll pin was in place.
  10. Trying to log in gets a denial screen and informs that the enos forum is a banned website on the Airport's WIFI. Doodie Project is a go, however. Oh, the humanity...
