Changing 2011 grips metal to aluminum

I have an atlas titan in 9mm with PT evo grip. I have a Dan Bedell built limited 40 gun with aluminum STI grip.

 

I want to swap grips. Will it change the trigger job since the trigger spring may be in a different location?

Absolutely the trigger pull/function may be impacted by the differences in how the sear spring sits in the grip and interacts with the firing control parts. 

 

When I installed my EVO grip on a fully functional pistol, I needed to adjust the sear spring, as the slight differences in angle/tolerances allowed the hammer to drop during the functional check.

Thanks, that’s what I was thinking.
The trigger is so good in both guns that I may just buy two trigger springs and adjust them accordingly, so if I decide I don’t like the swap, I can change them back and not ruin the already excellent triggers I have.
